Schindewolf Express is committed to maintaining and improving our Safety levels throughout our organization using our continuous improvement activities and comprehensive training practices. Schindewolf Express is dedicated to our affiliation with The Ohio Trucking Association, American Trucking Association, and our membership with Ohio Trucking Safety Council (OTSC, OTMC) all of which help us in our continuing education and training related to Safety.

Our drivers must complete Safety Training events scheduled each year within our organization to stay current and compliant with our company Safety policies.

Driver Basic Safety Training consist of the following:

  • Safe Driving Procedures.
  • Driver manual compliance.
  • Vehicle Inspection pre/post trip procedures.
  • Identifying Hazards.
  • Slips, Trips and Fall.
  • Driver Fatigue Awareness.
  • Drug and Alcohol Awareness.
  • Tire Blowouts.
  • Moving Violations.
  • Driver Distraction.

Specialized Product Handling Training such as:

  • Rail car Trans-loading procedures.
  • Silo Trans-loading procedures.
  • Gravity fed Silo loading procedures.
  • Pneumatic Silo loading procedures.
  • Product unloading procedures customer specific.
  • CSA 2010 compliance.
